1. Eligibility

  • Dancers must be currently enrolled in regular studio classes.

  • Minimum attendance requirement: 85% in all relevant classes (unless excused).

  • All dancers. must Audition or submit a video submission.

2. Commitment & Rehearsals

  • Dancers must attend all scheduled rehearsals, including extra practices leading up to the competition.

  • Punctuality is strictly enforced.

​

3. Fees & Payments

  • Competition fees must be paid in full by the studio deadline (entry fees, costume charges, coaching, travel if applicable).

  • All payments are non-refundable, even in case of withdrawal.

  • Additional charges may apply for:

    • Costumes

    • Travel/lodging paid by parent (if out-of-town)

4. Costumes & Appearance

  • Dancers must wear the assigned costumes and accessories only.

  • Hair and makeup must follow competition standards and studio instructions.

  • Costumes must be kept in good condition.

​

5. Behavior Expectations

  • Dancers must be respectful toward teammates, instructors, judges, and competitors.

  • Any negative behavior, including gossip, bullying, or disrespect, can lead to disqualification or removal from the team.

  • Parents/guardians must also maintain professionalism at events.

6. Communication

  • All official communication (schedules, updates, rules) will be sent via email or through our BAND APP. 

  • Parents and dancers must regularly check for updates and respond promptly when needed.

  • Last-minute changes may occur; flexibility is required.

​

7. Performance Expectations

  • Dancers must be performance-ready and meet technical and artistic expectations set by the choreographer.

  • Instructors reserve the right to make changes to choreography and formations.

  • Final participation is subject to instructor approval based on readiness and commitment.

8. Competition Fees ​

  • $25 Admin/Registration Fee (added by the studio) only

  • This is a flat, one-time fee added to each dancer’s total cost per competition entry.

  • It helps the studio cover: Administrative work, registration with the competition, music editing and uploading, and staff supervision during the event. 

​

9. Withdrawal Policy

  • Withdrawal must be submitted in writing at least 3 weeks before the competition (except emergencies).

  • Withdrawal after this time may affect eligibility for future competitions.

  • A $50 withdrawal fee for any Company classes will be charged after October 1, 2025.

​

10. TEAM Levels:  

  • Sparkle Elites 

  • SILVER Team

  • RED Team

  • BLACK Team

  • BLACK Elite Team​
